1Who we are

CoachOge (“CoachOge”, “we”) runs this site and decides how your information is used. Questions about your data: ndukweukabi@gmail.com.

2What we collect

• What you give us: your first name, email address and WhatsApp number when you sign up; the questions and comments you post under lessons; anything you send us by email or WhatsApp.
• How you use the course: which lessons you open and how much of each video you watch, so we can save your place, unlock your student price and remind you where you stopped.
• Where you are: your country, worked out from your internet connection (by our host, or by the lookup service ipapi.co), to show prices in naira or dollars. We don’t store your IP address with your record.
• Payments: if you buy, Paystack takes your card or bank details on its own secure page. We never see or store your full card number; we keep the payment reference, the amount, the currency and what you bought.
• Where you came from: if you arrive from an ad, the campaign tags in the link (like utm_source), so we know which ads work.
• Message delivery: whether our emails and WhatsApp messages were delivered, and whether your number is on WhatsApp.

3How we use it

• To give you the course you signed up for or bought, and keep your access working (this is needed to provide the service you asked for).
• To send you your lessons, reminders and offers by email and WhatsApp, including the student price after the free course (with your consent, given when you sign up). You can stop them at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or reply STOP on WhatsApp.
• To take payments, send receipts and handle refunds and renewals (to perform our contract with you, and because the law requires us to keep payment records).
• To understand and improve the course and our ads, using totals such as how many people finish each lesson (our legitimate interest in running the business well).
• To keep the site safe, for example limiting repeated sign-ups from one connection.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4Who we share it with

Only with the services that help us run the course, each for its own job:

Some of these services are outside Nigeria (for example in the US or the EU). When your information goes abroad, we rely on the protections the law allows, such as the provider’s own data protection terms. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.

5Cookies and tracking

We use a few small cookies that the site needs to work: one remembers your free-course place, one keeps you signed in to the paid course, and one keeps an administrator signed in. They aren’t used for advertising.

If we add an advertising pixel (like Meta’s) to measure our ads, we’ll list it here.

The lesson videos play from Vimeo, with its “do not track” setting on, so it doesn’t set tracking cookies.

6How long we keep it

• Your sign-up and course progress: for as long as you’re on our list, and up to 2 years after we last hear from you.
• Paid students: for your access period and up to 2 years after it ends, so you can renew where you left off.
• Payment records: 6 years, because tax and accounting law requires it.
• If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address and number on a do-not-contact list so we don’t message you again.

7Your rights

You can ask us to: see the information we hold about you; correct it; delete it; stop or limit how we use it; give it to you in a format you can take elsewhere; and withdraw your consent to messages at any time (this doesn’t affect messages we sent before). Email ndukweukabi@gmail.com and we’ll reply within 30 days.

If you’re not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng), or to the data protection authority where you live.

8Keeping it safe

The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), payment details stay with Paystack, and only CoachOge’s administrators can see the dashboard. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach puts your information at risk, we’ll tell you and the regulator as the law requires.

9Children

The course is for adults. It isn’t meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.

10Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change matters for how we use your information, we’ll also tell you by email.
